I got my Unpainted head today was taken aback it’s absolutely massive unfortunately. It’s nice but the size is all wrong sadly I don’t think it’s usable.
I actually asked Rainman to send me pictures of it next to the original for size comparison, so he was aware of it (tolerances of size, not that he knew he was casting badly).

I'm still down to do a chest piece which may save the sculpt (increase neck width), if there really is a problem.

that is unfortunately a problem with all of rainman's work.

yeah totally, this one however is even more extreme than the norm

To get it balanced you might need to put it on a really out of 1/6 scale body like the ghostbusters are but then he will tower over other figures in the scale. Lining the head up to the ghostbusters it’s even bigger than that unfortunately

I haven’t gotten mine to see... but building up the neck / chest to match it will just make the proportion all weird.

If the neck was slightly wider, I still think it would look better than it currently is (bobblehead like). The chest area is just to add shape, not build it up.

I gotta agree here... this would be an odd attempt at a fix. He'd look massive up to with a wide neck, then a regular body. Like Ray said the only thing you can really do is scale EVERYTHING up, but then you have issues with the outfit size, my shoes looking tiny, etc.

Fact of the matter is it's unfortunate to be paying hundreds of dollars for something blatantly out of scale. Same thing happened with Freddie mercury and no amount of futzing or other modifications have made that sculpt look proportional.

I also agree, but a few mm would make difference imo.

Shouldn’t we all issue Rainman on this? From what I see all you guys who got it in hand complain on it. I mean like this thing didnt cost 19.99 to basically get over it
