I have him a HT Jor El body. Big head doesn’t bother me the slightest.

Very disappointed to see this has happened. The painted sculpt was pretty expensive and definitely needs to be accurate to scale. I have not received mine yet and am not looking forward to it anymore, sadly.

I also agree, but a few mm would make difference imo.

I know I may be in the minority, but I think the head size is perfect. In general, the bodies are too “built” And shoulders too broad. He was slouchy. Also, no matter how fine the cloths tailoring Is, just by nature they can seem a bit bulky. I think the head size balances out the finished dressed figure perfectly.
I agree that his Freddy sculpt it looks a bit bit big, but when you see it on the outfit it was meant to go with (yellow jacket) to me, it seems to all into place size wise. I think k he mentioned that once too. I think with the bulky sweater the same will hold true.
Meh..just my 2¢ guys. Respect your opinions.

BTW. Totally down for that chest piece! Is it gonna happen? If so. I’m in. I’d love to paint both at the same time.
Also hopefully we’ll get the outfit soon!

My thoughts, and this is not just a knock on the size of the rainman sculpt I’ll give the same feedback to awesome figures like the ghostbusters, is that it’s an issue... it’s an error really, if a figure intended to be in scale with other figures in the line or from
the artist and the vast majority of figures in this scale and it’s grosssly over or under sized. (Under sized is a classic Threezero move)

As mentioned before you can give him extra long ankle pegs and put him on a hugh Jackman body to balance It out but then he’s going to just look weird next to any other figure in the collection and as Doggie mentioned, under scaled shoes and accessories as well.
As much as I love my ghostbusters I don’t love them as much as I should they do bother me and I never really like seeing them next to other figures.

It is a shame really as it’s an awesome sculpt. Shows Rainman has really evolved.

I’m in the camp that says for the price and integrity of the artist we are dealing with we are entitled to high standards. I almost wish it could be revisited since he’s sculpting digitally now it’s possible to adjust scale but that does not negate the time and cost of casting etc.

I can appreciate your point of view. I’m a huge Casino fan and as great as that Pesci sculpt was. It’s way undersized. Which sucks because it’s an amazing sculpt. I loved it so much I’d be willing to pay full price to get right.
If I read Rainman’s post correctly, I believe he started digitally but finished it traditionally as he could not get the level or detail he wanted digitally only. So. That may be difficult. Not to mention, did any artist ever go back and correct a head people weren’t happy with? I think the Travolta pulp fiction head did either a rework or a discount on the V2 head? But maybe I’m wrong.

Btw, is the head and body picture on page 1 the actual size? Not being snarky, Just asking. Because it looks great there, no?
Did it become larger on the casting?

I'm not sure. I believe I took the pictures from Rainman's initial posts.

I have his original also and will definitely compare. Was really hoping to have the new sculpt as a vast improvement.

I think I receive my sculpt tomorrow, so I will reserve judgement until I see it in hand.
