Hey guys

Sorry for the lack of updates this last week I've been on vacation and just got back

It's still moving along, spoke to Sean while I was away and he informed me he's just waiting on his printer to become free and the head will go to print - along with the accessories. Need the final word on how is still wanting the accessories other than who's already confirmed...

I'll be pm'ing those who have paid for the head who also showed interred in the accessories who have yet to confirm to find out if you are still interested tomorrow if I have the time, if not Friday or the weekend

Also I need to know who's is interested in the suit set - need numbers for this so I can get the clips made for the back of the vest. The suit will most likely be moving along soon also so we can get this project wrapped up

I'll be speaking with Pete and the tailor soon to wrap things up and give them the numbers off so I need all the people still seriously interested to let me know in the next couple of days please so we can get the cogs moving again

Prices can only be finalised once numbers are confirmed so the quicker that happens, the quicker we can finish up

With the low numbers prices are going to be as good as possible but just to note - Sean is making pretty much making zero profit from this project, but is still following through despite this so I just ask you all to please respect that and understand the price is pretty much what it's costing to do it!

Great Frank! I can confirm once I know the price for for the boots, pads and pouches. I still intent to get the vest and undersuit, but that's second priority to me compared to the former.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on where we are with the project

Sean's printer is backed up so that's whats delaying the head. Not really a delay as most printers have a waiting queue. It hasn't been forgotten about he just needs to get some other projects printed up too so it's in line and on it's way, don't worry.

As are the costs for the accessories, I'm guessing they will be going with the head but I'm not 100% on that yet as Sean hasn't said. Once i know the head is going to the printers i will let you know.

In the meantime i have sent my body and the suit back to the tailor to make the adjustments on the vest, so that will take a couple of weeks to arrive and a week + to make the changes on the vest, which by then i should have pictures of the updated vest.

From there, depending on the status of the head and accessories we may go forward with the suit and ask for the 50% payment on that, if it works out for you guys - but this isn't definite yet. The suit payments as i said earlier in the thread will be 50% up front, 50% on completion.

Once I'm at that stage I'll review and see what works best for everyone who's bought the head/is buying the suit and what's good for Sean and the tailor.

Just another update as to keep the people who have paid in the loop.

Seans hard drive had failed and he had to get it sent off to pull all the files off, that took a couple of weeks but it's done now thankfully.

We changed the pads to be more accurate (see below picture).

At present the boots are being thinned out slightly as they were thick and quite big, the head and parts are getting scaled so they are the right size and then everything will be good to finally go to the printers.

Shouldn't be too long now until it's ready but we don't want the head to come in undersized or anything to be out of scale, thought i'd keep peeps updated none the less!

Awesome news that the project is in solid high gear (pun intended).

How will the clothing payment work? Any chance we'll see a proto? I might get a full costume since I'm really busy with work and having less time to sculpt myself.

Ok more news

Head and parts have gone to the printers this week - should have some photos for you all of the unpainted casts in a couple of weeks hopefully!

Also the price for the full set of unpainted accessories which will include boots, elbow and knee pads, 1 large pouch & 3 pistol mag pouches will be $75 (gift) or $78 with paypal fees, this does not including shipping - only being offered as a set.

Best price we can give you them for and that is basically just covering printing and casting costs, this is based on the full 12 members interested paying, if people drop out we might have to re-evaluate.

Once the payments for the accessories have been finalized we will move onto the suit and see what works best for interested peeps.

Right now the tailor has my body and suit to make a new vest for me from changes from the original i gave him but it's gonna be a little while longer. Maybe a month or so, give or take. This is honestly because i personally can't afford to pay upfront right now for another proto vest so i gotta wait a little while until i can but once it's done I'll post it up and we can move forward with the clothing hopefully, just bare with me on that.

Do you wanna send Sean the payment for the head so he can add you to the list as he'll be doing the casts soon and will be doing them in batch. Accessories will be done after.

Suit will be later so you can let me know your status on that when the time nears.

Hey guys not yet, last update I had from Sean was they had been sent off to the printers.

I've mailed Sean for an update but he hasn't replied yet, I believe he is in the process of moving house and may not have internet just yet.

I shouldn't think it'll be too much longer, but as soon as he's up and running and gives me an update I'll pass it along.

So the head and other parts have been printed and are on there way to Pete now to be cleaned up and drilled, ready to be sent to the mold makers.

Once Pete has it all and it's cleaned he's gonna snap some pics before they all go off to the mold makers!

Yo guys, just an update.

First off really sorry for the delay on this - it's out of my control at the minute, unfortunately.

We are still waiting for the printed head and parts to be delivered to Pete to be cleaned up. It seems like there might be an issue with the post, it's currently being looked into

Once i hear anything new on it i will let you all know but at the minute the information is being passed down 3 people so that in itself is taking time.

Thanks again for all your patience and hopefully they arrive soon and we can progress further with it.

Thanks for the update, bud. That's fine. As with all customs, I wasn't expecting this to be a fast project in any regards. Just glad that the materials are being made, and those awesome heads will get painted.
