Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

I see gray fox being done the same exact way as Solid Snake's vest was done, you'd have to use spandex or something like that instead. I saw a cosplay where grey fox looked awesome and they used the same idea.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

I don't personally think it would work at all, it definitely couldn't be done the same way the vest was done or it wouldn't move

Full spandex suit would look nothing like it should, you'd get no detail and it would crease/fold where it shouldn't, it just wouldn't work in fabric

The best way to do it, which is what I'm going to do but it will be costly - mod the HT Raiden, hence why it won't be offered

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

I tried paying sean through the Pay Pal app on my android phone and it kept messing up so I'll have to pay him when I get home

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

Nah i had to pay a separate shipping cause mine went out later when i squeezed in the first run.

This is how Fox should be done, ideally. Sculpting the armor onto a body, keeping full articulation. This is from quite awhile ago. On a NEO Volks body.

I think a rubber suit with a mixture of armored (plastic) parts could work. But, I can only imagine how expensive that would be. Using Raiden probably won't work, either, because of all the exposed musculature.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

I would kill for a MGS2 Raiden, and it will probably feel incomplete having the Medi and HT Raiden without his original MGS2 counterpart.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

agreed, but well never ever ever see one. id lose my **** if one came out or there was a custom section for him.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

You use the upcoming Raiden bodies the base, sand down and re-sculpt parts of the existing figure to look like Fox, the torso etc
The you replace the head and get a sword and you'll have a decent enough FOX, probably won't be 100% accurate and it'll more mores based on the RISING Fox, but it'd be a good looking Fox that blended in with the rest

Pretty much what Jack D posted was done to another base body. It's the best way to make to do it a suit just wouldn't look as good

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

i found the gloves im going to use, theyre bendy finger hands with fabric gloves. im going to cut out the grey squares out of another fabric and glue them on the gloves with spray on fabric glue. is there any chance that i could get a sample of the fabric used from the suit? that would be so perfect, thanks frank! fabric.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

Any chance of a Snake from MGS2 Or did one already happen and I missed it?

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open

it was already discussed but hes having a really hard time finding materials for the suit. when he puts stuff together hell do a run.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs] - 2nd small run open
