Okay, the moment you've been waiting for! He's all done and this is what the year and a half wait has gotten us! Perfection!

just a full harness. it goes over his shoulders, its pretty much the same as the metal boss one but black. it also has a belt under.

i just looked and they have a few waist/crotch ones thatll do the same thing, you cant see it under hes vest anyway.

Hes got pretty good articulation.

He cant do crouching poses though. The arms move surprisingly well with the vest. The the elbows bend about as far as i have the right arm. He cant hold the gun straight out with 2 hands, close to his body, no problem. Figured id shed some light since i had him for a couple of days and dylan asked i think.

Jason my man glad you got him all safe and sound! the undersuit top is on the wrong way round though :lol

Velcro goes up his back so you cant see it on the front neck opening :)

**** i forgot to put the elastic straps in yours dude as i was trying to get it out to you quick!

The rest will have them done already by me

Damnit! Didnt even think of that, what a pain in the butt itll be to fix, but ill do it later. Its okay about the straps, no worries. I took care of it for $3.

On a side note, i ordered snake an mp5, fim-92, and a psg-1. I figured id make him a dx, just having problems getting pics of his grenades and other accessories. If anyone else can help me out id be much appreciative. Also, the grey paint isnt drying on the tops of the hands, dylan was right, kinda sucks.

If you paint the hands you need to stay away from gloss/semi-gloss paints or any kind of varnish because they will just react to the plastic and become sticky. I use Vallejo Acrylic paints and finish with Testors Dullcote. This I have done for a long time on flexible plastic hands. It completely dries with no sticky residue.

Also if you try to remove the paint from the hands the thinner or laquer remover softens the plastic. Do not submerge the hand just wet the rag with thinner and gently wipe it of. Thoroughly soap wash the hand when finished. Just FYI.

after feeling insanely dumb putting snakes shirt on backwards i fixed it and his articulation is even better. the shoulders look better as well with the three vents there. maisto, i went to put his gun hand on and the grey literally just wiped away onto my finger. im going to shoot to the hobby shop and see if they have the paint you suggested. i already have the testors dullcote from when i did my liquid snake pilot figure.

I know I'm the only one really commenting on this thread right now, but I was wondering has anybody else gotten any of their stuff yet? No one else has mentioned anything and i wanna see others versions.

I do. I've finished painting the head, pouches and boots months ago but I haven't put everything together yet. Maybe I'll wait for Liquid to arrive and work on both simultaneously.

this is the one i got. great price too!

as you can see in the pic the paint has been rubbing off on the gloves, im in the middle of cleaning them all off and repainting them per maistos suggestion in paint. im going to let them dry until tomorrow and see how they turned out then let you guys know. still hoping to see you guys customs, i want to see your variations and the parts you have found online.
