Well, I can just wait and get this outfit and not deal with any of this 2 year waiting aggravation. Actually the sculpt is quite nice too. Not to mention, I love the hands.

It certainly doesn't look bad. Who knows with Sideshow final products though. It may not be out and about for a while too.
Iris is meant to be shipping the sets now.

I could see them becoming a little less desirable. I mean, I could easily see myself dropping the custom for this if it's going to hold up.
A lot of people aren't in it just because customs offer exclusive ideas though. A lot of work goes into what we keep behind our detolfs - obviously.

I mean, I know Sideshow does a lot of voodoo witchcraft on their promo shots LOL...so who knows what the final will look like. I love the hands (which I think is a huge hole in this hobby). I'm sure the accessories will be helpful too. The outfit, at least in the promo, looks pretty damn good too - but may look like something the cat dragged in when actually produced. The head sculpt looks really good. I'm sure the paint won't be great. I do still love Rainman's V2 head sculpt. It has a lot of warmth to the face. As for the value of other outfits, I would not recommend getting in this hobby for investment value. It just swings way too much . Even some o the top work fro 5 years ago pales in comparison to todays work.

Yes, agreed. Sorry, I didn't want to make it sound monetary orientated, (or exclusive for that matter). I guess it sometimes feels sad when previous efforts or projects feel like they are eclipsed by new ventures, but that's just the nature of many hobbies I guess. Also, like the character of Deckard, I Just like to keep as many of the different versions as possible. Each outfit or figure often has it's own unique merit. Improvements here and there that make it great in it's own way. I like the Sideshow head too. I wonder what the accessories might be if there are any?
