what was the final proto that was signed off on with no further changes to be made? Was it this one Jagzz or another?

IE: was there a picture of a final proto type, no further changes to be made on a fully clothed body, or is that this photo?
This is still the 1st proto, but I'm taking more pictures to show the fitting with the sculpt..
The final proto is the 2nd proto, with all the improvements, you can scroll through the process and what are the changes, but no changes on the measurement and jacket length.

apologies, but I'm still a little unsure. Was there a photo of a fully dressed figure where there were no further changes made or were changes made after ?

So first proto was shown, looked great, but people got crazy with the measurements on the pockets, collar, etc.
Then a 2nd proto was made using these new measurements. The final pic of the prototype is below.

It seems like some people are ready to be dissatisfied before they even get it.

That's the feeling I'm getting with some of these comments as well. No jacket I have gotten (Yunsil, Iris) have looked great right out the box. You have to futz. Weather them etc. I don't see why this jacket should be any different in that regard. Just because its an expensive jacket doesn't negate that. And as far as I'm concerned it's part of the fun of the hobby futzing these things to get it "just right".

But as I've said if there are fixes to be made then yes let's get it "just right".

I think if Jagzz and the tailor said the sizing will be fixed, then I feel better. From the pics, it’s obviously quality work.
It’s a shame there are so many issues, idk why it would’ve been shipped like this in the first place but I’m glad they’re making it right.
That being said, a $650 jacket should look perfect upon arrival. My Iris jacket always looked great from the moment I put it on. Of course futzing helped but the jacket certainly always fit correctly. I don’t want to get this jacket and be convincing myself that it looks ok cause I just dropped $650 on it.
So please Jagzz and tailor, take your time. I want this perfect as it should be.

Ok I have received it and it is shown with a kato raiders Indy jacket which is definitely not as accurate as our new one.
first complaint is it is definitely way to big especially the arms which are huge in width, the back and chest there is also just to much material to bunch up under his arm without making the back look silly.
the stitching and leather quality is great, slightly thinner and softer than the kato one.

That is good to hear as I know that was a point of concern. So it really just looks like the fitting needs to be addressed (and double check the pockets) and everything else is a win?

Yeah it’s is amazing but it just doesn’t look scaled to the body like the earlier prototype, I can look past some bits but the overall size especially the sleeves makes it look like a XXL instead of just a large.

Dug out my Kato 2.0 outfit and added a satchel. (I see new pics are up as well). Kato shirt is super thin and form fitting. The jacket

clearly looks much better as all is added, but still seems a bit large. I really pressed on the material to get it as form fitting as possible for the photo without doing a water treatment.

Looking pretty good there. Hopefully we’ll be seeing some pics from the tailor today, perhaps he should show a pic of the jacket on the body, then another pic of the same jacket on the body after alterations. That’d be great.

Thanks for the pics man, I agree the fitting on the arms definitely need to be address. Let me know what you decide and I will pm you with the details.

The new round of pictures I think gives us all a lot of hope.

It's shown us that the jacket can look better when displayed properly IE: a fully dressed figure.

It also has shown us that whilst there are obviously QC issues, maybe a fix is not as far off as first thought.

If the fit is made a bit smaller to down a size I think that this indeed may be the ultimate Indy jacket we hoped for.
