Re: MGS1: Solid Snake Project sculpted by sdabbs *TAKING PAYMENT ON THE HEAD*
As a few have pm'd me regarding deadline for payment of the head
Deadline for payment of the head sculpt will be at the end of the week (Sunday - 11/05/2014)
Please get your payments in by then and i will recap with Sean to see where we are at, we need at least 18 to even get this to go to the printers and to move the project along and keep it in production.
This is Seans actual job and source of income and he doesn't usually do interest runs. Due to the initial interest in the head he kindly took on the project but If we don't reach 18 the heads quota, it will not go to print and thus most probably neither will the Pouches, Knee + Elbow pads and the boots, effectively rendering the project useless.
If by Sunday this is the case we will have to recap on whether the project can still go ahead, as without Sean involvement, the head and other specific items that need to be printed won't be available anymore.
So i guess my main point is - even if the suit is out of your price range or you don't care for it, but are interested in the Head and Accessories then please send your payment to Sean by Sunday to keep the project from collapsing.
Even if it's just to upgrade parts on a current MGS Solid Snake custom, or if you are just starting one then the printed items being offered are essential. The boots and pouches would also work for MGS2 Snake.
It's honestly worth it for the Head, Boots, Pouches and pads alone. There's no other way to get these items made accurately, it'd be a shame to waste everyone's time and potentially lose out on as accurately made parts.
Below are pictures of the Pouches, Elbow and Knee Pads
Here's a WIP of the boots, these are still being worked on and the below isn't the finished boots, i know there are still some inaccuracies
Just wanted to get these up so people have an idea of what all the bits are shaping up like.
I'm not trying to force anyone's hand here, just being honest with all. If there are people who are on the fence just due to the suit then it may help clear up some stuff and see the main parts get printed as i highly doubt these will ever be offered or mass produced
