Marf,
I just dropped you an email...GREAT PICS AND GREAT PAINT APPS...I guess my layered fabric idea is working? There is a layer of platinum white(greyish)faux leather under the greyish mesh.
I wanted everyone to have the option of a clean look or with a little paint app...you get the look of perfection that Marf is showing us.

They really fit in nicely and tie the whole figure together -- belts and buckles and all. Wonderful work, Chad!


I forget, is that the 2.5 or the older Triad coat?

But I don't think the Red Skull sculpt will work. I know Arsyn was working on a sculpt -- he may even do a screaming sculpt which would be killer. The CM sculpt may be serviceable for the time being.

Maybe we need WST to do one of his special sculpts with Chu??? Probably depend on interest from the Neo-phytes here.

I would love to add Smith to the collection, I've just been less than impressed with the parts that are out there. I agree that we need a Smith specific sculpt, I would prefer one with a stern, collected expression. :rock

Then the CM sculpt might work for you. It's recognizable but a bit caricature.

I didn't mean "screaming" sculpt, I should have said teeth-gritted angry, like whenever he's about to kick some ass. I think that 'forehead ready to explode' look would be fun for a Smith custom.

Anyway, not to bog this thread down with a new project as others will soon get their boots. Maybe we should start a "The AGENT SMITH Project Thread" and see where it goes. I absolutely have to make a Smith now in 2012.

Thanks. I've been working on my Neo for years. That's the reason I have the Original Triad Coat. Then Headplay came out with the Neo HS and now Chad had these boots made. It finally feels done.
