Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs]

Whats your guys plans for displaying Solid and Liquid? Are you going to get Hot Toys Stands made?

Well, when I usually display my figures, I display them without stands :lol. Hot Toys bodies are pretty sturdy on their own, and as long as you have a flat surface, stable surface to rest them on, they'll be okay and won't topple over.

But, if you do need to get a custom decal made for a Hot Toys stand, EVILFACE does them.

I might, but I'm in no hurry for that.

I think I'd be more interested in some kind of... custom diorama for Snake and Liquid. Although, those things can get pretty huge.

I love Evilface. No ****. He's the best at what he does, and what he does is very nice.

For those who are on the 2nd run of the clothing set.

Half payment needs to be with me for the 31/05 so i can pay geewhiz, if you can make sure they are in for the 31st that would be brill.

They will start the week commencing the 01/06 i believe and its within a 6-8 week completion period.

Petes just gotta ship them to me and then I'll package them up and get them shipped

Hey Frank, do we have an idea when the first wave might ship?

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs]

How much should we send for the half payment with the paypal fees? I should be able to send payment on Monday.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs]

Just to let everyone know that i am redoing the pads as they need to be painted light so I will send them back to Matt again this Thurs.

We want everything to be spot on for this project :)

Comparison pic of the SOCOM that comes with the Yamato Snake, and a generic one I had one hand.

If you can get your hands on a Yamato Snake, do it. You won't find a better SOCOM to go along with the project.

I'm not using the yamato, it's slightly bigger and the suppressor makes it look oversized

The actual handgun part is well detailed, I tried the smaller suppressor on but it didn't fit so I'm just going for the smaller cheaper one

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs]

I posted a comparison shot with my Dragon MK 23 in the MGS Collectibles thread, and the Yamato Socom is exactly the same size. The suppressor is actually supposed to be pretty large.

By the way, it's good that you got your package, Plis. That was a long wait.

Re: MGS1: Solid Snake [sdabbs]

Well I'm just throwing a suggestion out there. The suppressor was the leading factor into me wanting it, since the series has always been about big suppressors.
