I would be interested... but only if we could also get someone like Jnix to sculpt a new head for it, because that Threezero one is just far too small and doesn't have the greatest likeness.

That Daenerys repaint is outstanding! Is it from your friend Damon? In that case, is he open to commissions? Would he paint a small run if that project goes forward?

Hi Mikel, yea its Damon's but he didn't repaint it. There are only a few out there that can repaint her,
she is very difficult to repaint. I can check with the Painter if this would be possible.

Yeah there are lots of nice repaints out there, but I owned the figure briefly and the small head still made the figure look glaringly undersized next to everything else I own. And with that bulky Season 7 outfit on I imagine the head would look even smaller...

It would be interesting to do a new sculpt if possible, or maybe even enlarge a recast of the original headsculpt. The problem would be that it would need a complete repaint and rehair to look good, which would be expensive. Also, in that case she would need a new body. That part is not difficult, cause that outfit covers all, and any cheap body could work. I think it's worth discussing these options.

Shes not tall in real life. I think her head and body portion is pretty decent.

ok so we already hit 17. I think you should contact Yunsil now and ask for a price. For me it would be okay if she can't deliver the chain, because I would ask fullmetal then. Maybe we can get a group price

Dave James is right the head is too small and the original body is garbage so you’d need to use something like a Jyn erso

No repaint I’ve done or seen has been able to save the sculpt, size aside it’s a flawed sculpt.

The general consensus is that, even with Emilia Clarke being petite (5ft 2in), the figure is too short (25.5cm when she should be 26.54 without the boots). It becomes more apparent when placed besides other figures.
I honestly can live with it, and I'm pretty happy with Threezero's Daenerys as is. But if we go for a new figure, I think it makes sense to fix that, with a new body (bodies might cost $20-30) and a new sculpt. Obviously a new sculpt, painted and rehaired would be expensive, so I understand if most people prefer just the outfit over Dany's regular figure.

Yeah it would be far more expensive, but if I'm going to pay that much for a new outfit I might as well have a really great sculpt to go with it (that is properly scaled and doesn't require a paint job that makes her look overly glammed up as all these repaints tend to do).

Here's a comparation of some different bodies I own. From left to right, JX-01B, Dam Toys (Natalia), Daenerys original body, and HT Leia. That Dam Toys body looks great for Daenerys, I think. The original sculpt and boots fit perfectly on her, and since she's petite too it doesn't look out of proportion. It would allow two options, keep the Threezero sculpt, or a new headsculpt, a tad bigger and more accurate, if possible. Also, it's not difficult to find and it's around $30.
