makes sense, also no need to be done so as this outfit covers the arm, so a seamless arm would be kinda useless and hinders articulation.

I'm thinking the Dam toys natalia should do the job.
It's affordable, works with the three zero sculpt or new sculpt and a bit bigger.

It’s also Hoth Leia with the exception of the calves/pegs which gave Alice extra height.
For Dani you want either jyn or Leia bodies for the right height and even the best build as both are ok for that too. The two leias have different boob sizes but due to the structure of the front of Dani’s outfit either would be OK I think. And any equivalent KO body using the same parts I’d not put up to par quality wise. I’ve got a few and they totally suck.
I’d consider myself an expert on 1/6 scale bodies and I’d say by far the best way to go is one of these two. For the 20 or so guys on this list that are willing to pay 500 dollars for a doll outfit they can shell out the 50-65 dollars it costs to get a jyn or Leia on eBay, TA, monkey depot or the many other places. These are newer figures and they are ubiquitous.

I'm not against spending a bit more on a body, if that's the best option, but I can't find Leia or Jyn on eBay or Monkey Depot right now. I don't think they're so easily available.

Yes it should be a body that is avalible to buy stand alone and not a body from a full figure, otherwise it's to hard for everyone to get the body

I would personally almost guarantee that regular checking go TA, monkey depot, blackopstoys and eBay etc. would be impossible not to get one of the bodies I mentioned.
The Mathilda run has way more interested and committed people than this run so far and it was committed to be tailored to the Star Ace Harry Potter girl body. Way way more specific and you NEVER see that parted out. and if you do it runs for a lot of money... But it was the right body for the project so everyone had to get on board or miss the train.
The vast majority of regularly available female bodies are pure and utter junk.
Super poor quality, loose and brittle plastic, terrible skin tones (you are still gonna have to see her neck) etc. And a TB large body has all wonky proportions, too tall and is way more expensive than the bodies I mentioned.
The readily available bodies... kumik.. Verycool, ZC etc. are not befitting a 500 dollar project.
If you are committing to a project like this you should be able to be a committed enough collector to get the job done sourcing what you need. If connivence is your priority, you're probably the type who will be satisfied with the sub par threezero offering.

Here's Leia ANH body (left) besides Dam body. Sorry, but I'm not risking taking out Hoth Leia outfit, not sure if I'd be able to put it back. But I'm assuming Jyn's and Hoth's bodies are similar to that one.
Again, the Dam body has a pretty good quality. Not as good as the HT, but pretty close. You can see in the picture that the arms/legs surface have a lesser finish, shiny and plastic like, while the HT has a nicer matte finish. Also, the color on HT is more natural. The articulation on elbows is tighter and more stocky in the HT, too. But since the body would be totally covered, I don't think there's any problem with those.
That said, that Dam body is much better than the other cheap bodies I own. I still think is a very valid option if the other bodies can't be found. The size and proportion still fit Dany better than the HT to my eyes.
The stock Daenerys sculpt fits on Leia's neck too, but not perfectly. It would need to cut a tad of the rubber covering the neck articulation so it doesn't push the head up.

Yeah its pretty crazy. she is officially quoting 9 months but the Leia project is well over a year, granted there was complications with that one. All of the joker orders have been in for over a year and it's literally radio silence with that. Absolutely no indication of when we will see even a prototype.

We've had a wealth of amazing outfits because of it, but I kind of miss the 'almost exclusive tailor to rainman' days.
Become far too oversubscribed and it shows unfortunately.

Wow when broken down like that it really bears concern. Having been indirectly consulted on a few of the projects I know where the hang ups other than just the natural work load and process can occur:
1) Bad communication between run organizer and yunsil
2) Bad communication between run organizer and buyers, it's hell being a run organizer so I'm to faulting these guys in the slightest by the way
3) Complexity of project and pickiness of the buyers
4)The more the buyers. the more it becomes harder to please everyone... but of course the run is cheaper. This is the trade off. But also why the large runs like Joker and Leia are taking longer and not just because of volume
5) inevitable snags (no pun intended) For example the Leia fabric that was prototyped sold out... she needed to wait until more was produced to make more
6) Projects that are halfheartedly started. A lot of people open up runs, often to gain interest which its completely understandable but maximize a lot of her time planning and consulting a project only to inevitably drop it or pause it due to low interest.
7) plain ol' workload. Let's call a spade a spade here she is the only game in town. Not meaning to offend anyone here (I have a great amount of respect for tailors as I can't for the life of me imagine how anyone could do stuff at this scale) but Kato is a one man show, and too expensive (he's worth it in my opinion but this is not always public opinion) so he is more infrequent (which I respect). Gee Whiz is expensive and not even close to being up to par with Yunsil. Iris is totally not up to par.. not even close, I've been realizing this more and more lately and pus they are just as backed up as Yunsil. Other great contributors here like Haut who also has a small one man operation and building his portfolio slowly and Unleashed viper who's skill set is limited to very specific types of outfits like Samurai (which he does very well!). But you got dozens of really really good sculpts and painters in the community. So it's very disproportionate.

I agree for sure. but I do have to say that her quality is still just second to none and one point I didn't make below which is a huge feather in her cap is she can make ANYTHING! I have an affectionate nostalgia for the day that she was making the great outfit for an Alex Delarge figure or whatever but now when I see that outfit bested by someone like medicom but I look at the AMAZING work she is doing now, I am thankful for the way the hobby has shifted.
But I'm pretty happy to wait out a few years for projects to come together and a lot are not which I totally get too.

huh. kumik bodies are krap? I had no idea and I was about to get one.
Dam toys are closer to HT in skin tones, plastic quality, etc.?
I have two playtoy bodies and they have paler skin (matches some nice DSTOYS sculpts perfectly) and have a small busts. Both qualities that seem right for Dany.
They are slightly taller than anh leia and jyn. I'd think that could be mitigated by leaving the feet out of the boots.
Maybe harder to come by lately tho. [shrug]

Interested. Would actually prefer the white version, but either would be welcome. Would also like to see a new and larger head sculpt. The 3Z head isn't terrible, but still a bit of a letdown.
