Looks like i keep getting in biz with people who can't respect their word...
I was working with the new sculptor on a small test project and its taking forever, he keeps stalling so i think i'll be better off.

But i have another possible option wich is from a very serious fellow from the board, don't want to jinx it so lets keep it under wrap for now.

One thing tho, i'm still waiting for the armors i sent to both sculptors to be returned. Looks like its gonna take a while so if you got a comedian armor even damaged at the straps please let me know so i can provide it to the new artist in charge.

I'm not letting this go one or another we will get a replacement ^^

Sorry, don't have any armor to help you out, but I'm definitely in for 2 sets when you get around to selling them. I tried reducing the DC Comedian's armor to fit the Hot Toys body the way Elvis 1976 suggested but that turned out to be a bust. Please keep me in mind.

Old Grandpa helped out with an armor, it was shipped to Dorgmal Snow but he was not able to use it as it disintagrated.
I'm getting mines back from the original sculptor i commisioned, i should get them early next week.
Have no idea what state they are in but since the sculptor did not pointed any special problem with them i think they should be ok and usable.
We'll see...

Please, count me in.
My armor is oiling and it's already damaged (lethally deformed) by belts!

This is all about chest armor, right? I don't really think that we need to replace pants, they're quite OK to me.

yes its the armor only.
I have yet to know if the groin part of the armor will be included.
I think its better to have the chest separated of it to allow more posability since the replacement will be rigid and not rubber.
We'll see...

That's why I had to modify it so it fits better, it's not perfect, but it's better than nothing.

I bought mine on the cheap from someone's who had already melted

What did you modify?
I would have cut a bit the armor near the shoulder to make it less massive

I've been anxiously waiting for this project to come to fruition, but if all else fails, I guess I'll also be doing the DC Direct mod which was always in the back of my mind. Still, I'm curious also how and what you ended up modifying as it looks pretty good to me! Good job!

I dremmeled it off the body (it was glued on in spots). Had to use a screwdriver after I made the gaps. I then cut more gaps in small segments from the back of shoulder straps(that way they cover the shoulders with no gaps) and the sides of the armor till it fit right. The seam in the back of the shoulder straps are hidden by the rubber belt straps and there is a small seam on each side of the armor that can't be seen from the front or back. Then I glued it together It's solid plastic, it won't ever melt unless there is flame involved.

Count me as interested. I recently reacquired a Comedian since I've been reading Before Watchmen and it got me interested in the figure again.
